Item Data Analyst
Day in Life for Item Data Analyst:
The Item Data Analyst supports the Buying Team, with merchandising tasks. The IDA role is to Create Items, Item Data Maintenance, Vendor communications and Maintain Workflow Tool. The position requires frequent communication with Buying team as well as with vendors, distribution centers and stores.
Who You Are:
· University or college degree or commensurate retail experience
· Preferred 1-2 years related experience in a merchandise capacity
· Excellent in computer skills including MS Word and Excel & Google Suites
· Sense of urgency flexibility ability to multitask
· Willingness to learn
· Detail oriented
· Good organizational skills
What you will do as the Item Data Analyst:
· Manage item set up and maintenance:
· Execute Item Set up, including executing any changes, re-classes and re-codes
· Item Maintenance
· Request new department/ MFG
· Communication and follow up with vendors/Asst. Buyers for questions and/or outstanding information
· Execution of Price and Cost Changes
· Execution of RTVs and Store Transfers
· Maintain workflow tool
· Update Operational trackers for the business areas
· Actively Participate in Projects/Initiatives
· Reviewing styles Online as part of Ecom Audit
